Miss Shanida Lawya

JR.'s for a few years. She was
recently crowned countess 35 of
the ICRME (Imperial Court of the
Rocky Mountain Empire). See
Shanida each Wednesday night
at 10PM as she joins legendary
empress, Nina Montaldo for
Drag Queen Bingo.

Miss Nina Montaldo has been one of Denver's
premier female impersonators since 1969. She has
become a legend throughout the drag community of
Denver and throughout the country. She has entertained
thousands of people in both the gay and straight
communities, served as Queen Mother and the elected
office of Empress 24 of the Imperial Court of the Rocky
Mountain Empire. She also served on the Board of
Directors for 14 years, helping to raise thousands of
dollars for various charities, including the battles against
HIV/AIDS, PFLAG and breast cancer. A mentor to many
queens providing make up lessons and I continue to style
wigs for queens across the country, when she's not
entertaining the masses or co-hosting Drag Queen Bingo
at JR.'s!
